Hansel and Gretel,Punch and Judy

Here are some items that are a little outside my box, at least on this blog. I do make semi primitive items,just havent featured any on here. The challenge by Magical Holiday Artists was to design something with Hansel and Gretel theme. I decided to make a witch jack in the box and a shaker. Hmnn as long as I was working with jack in the boxes I decided to try a Punch and Judy theme. Both seem to be between cute and dark lol. Lots of fun to work on. I have done Halloween jack in the box items and they will be coming soon.

My Last Design Challenge!!

I had sooo much fun working on these design projects organized by Sadie from Lollishops. This is the final and third design.We worked with items sent from Gumball Vintage, Sadies shop. The design started with a vintage card,I cut the small girl sitting in a swing and set her upon a tree branch. She has a bit of glitter dusting her skirt. The lace tree that isnt pictured very well,hmm my camera went crazy, the tree has a love dove and three paper flowers. The base of the tree has three yoyos that I made out of vintage fabric supplied in our kids. I used the vintage buttons as centers of the flowers. Around the base of the ice blue box is some blue silk ribbon trim topped off with a sweet velvet flower and a heart tipped stick pin, So many lovely items to choose form, I tried to use them all!!!
